Overeating:

Overeating can range from the occasional holiday over-indulgence to a routine eating habit. Usually people over-eat for different reasons: having been taught to always “clean your plate”, not to have leftovers, finishing your children’s plates, ordering large portions in restaurants because they may be “more economical”, and not listening to your body tell you when you are full. There are physiological consequences to overeating like digestive and metabolic disorders which require medical intervention.

Unhealthy Eating Habits:

Unhealthy Eating Habits can include eating or swallowing too quickly, not adequately chewing food, making poor food choices, not drinking enough liquids (especially water), eating too many sweets, fats, carbohydrates, not enough fruits, fiber or vegetables, and too much caffeine and/or alcohol. Other habits like not taking time to enjoy your food, eating while standing or watching television and not eating at about the same time each day can cause poor digestion and contribute to stress.
