Marriage is a joyous event which brings a myriad of adjustments during its first year. Bringing two lives together as a unit while maintaining individuality can frequently lead to communication problems, which can lead to anxiety and depression. If other changes are present, additive stressors can overwhelm the couple creating a seemingly impossible resolution to the problems.
